Have your voice heard on Australia’s future
Ever wanted the Australian Government to hear your ideas on how to plan for the country’s future?
Young people from around Australia are being given the chance to make their voices heard by the nation’s policy makers in a two-day Youth Summit in Canberra on the 12th and 13th of April this year.
The Australian Government has invited young people aged between 15 and 24 years to nominate to take part in the event. One hundred young people will converge on Parliament House to discuss the 10 critical long term challenges facing Australia over the next 10 years, as well as options for an ongoing Australian Youth Forum.
Ten young people who take part in the Youth Summit will also be chosen to attend the Australia 2020 summit in Canberra on 19 and 20 April, where 1000 leading Australians will come together to help shape a long-term strategy for Australia. .
